A new chapter for Montessori in Claremont
Yellow School Montessori is a fresh start for a Claremont preschool. New leadership recently took over the space and reimagined it from the floor up. The goal was simple. Give young children a calm, beautiful room to learn in, and the freedom to move through it at their own pace.

How We Started
A space rebuilt for how children actually learn
When new ownership took over, the building needed more than a coat of paint. Every shelf and work surface was rethought around the Montessori method, so that a two year old and a six year old could share one room and both feel at home in it.
What you see now is a prepared environment in the real Montessori sense. Materials sit at a child's height, in order, ready to be chosen. The room is quiet by design, because quiet is where focus grows.
And this is only the beginning. The long term plan is a full Montessori school a child can grow up in, from their toddler years all the way through elementary.
